i've email out the instructions on how to post to the blog. if you have any problems posting on the page, let me know. it should be slightly easier than this one. i'm trying to make it work so that we can post through emails.

I think God gave me 2 learning points from this passage.

The first point is guarding our heart and our thoughts. To achieve this, we cannot be influenced by the sinners or the world. Rather, we should delight in the law of the Lord, and meditate it day and night.

The second point is the Lord is in control. He always watches over the way of the righteous.

For me the psalm is about how we should live by God's teaching and His laws, and not associate ourselves with whom we know are not living righteously. Those who follow the right way will be blessed and prospers in all he does (verse 1, 3).

Sometimes it is difficult for us to completely dissociate ourselves from those people around us who does not live by God's ways, but God does not judge us collectively (verse 5 - 6). So no matter what circumstances we may be in, have faith and walk right with God, and He will prosper you.

Dear Father God in Heaven,
I thank You that You have brought almost all our brothers to cell this day where we were given a chance to listen to our brothers' latest updates which we can extend our prayer upon.

I pray that You will continue to bless us in the week to come.

I pray that You will bless Dennis with Knowledge and Wisdom so that he may complete his tasks and construct a plan that will be beneficial to the Youths in his school. May his relationships with his colleagues become better. May You also bless him with good health, strength, perseverance and good time management to juggle his Family, O Levels and work. I pray that Your healing hand and protection be on Emmanuel, that he will stay healthy and break off from the chain of illnesses.

I pray that Your healing hands be on Joe's grandmother who has suffered from a mild stroke recently. May she recuperate quickly, regain her ability of clear speech and mobility.

I pray that Your healing hands be on Chi Wern, Zhi Xiong. May they recover quickly from their illnesses, be it flu or diarrhoea or muscle aches.

I pray that Your healing hands and protection be on Francis. May he recover quickly from his fainting spells and other ailments that's affecting his performance and well-being in National Service. May You guide him to take good care of himself in camp and not over-strain himself.

I would like to pray for Lennel. May Your meticulous nature be on him so that he will pay attention to small details at work and make lesser mistakes.

I would like to pray for Alvin. May Your plans for him be revealed soon. May he find a full-time job soon which will unfold many more opportunities leading to his bright future.

May Your plans and directions for Kelvin be also revealed whether he should take up new job offers or stay at his current job. May Your care be upon him so he do well at his current job and hopefully become a confirmed permanent staff.

May Your plans and directions for Jun Liang be also revealed whether he should pursue his interest and accept an offer to become a photojournalist. May he unlock your blessings, his way be clear of obstacles and fulfil his very own dreams.

I would like to pray for Daniel, may You bless him with diligence with school work. Your Law about sowing what we reap shall not be bent. May You bless Daniel with diligence so he will reap good results from his hard work.

I would like to pray for William, may You bless him with Wisdom, Intelligence and Linguistic understanding for the French language. May he be quick at absorbing French and also continue to do well at his other modules which are harder and at a higher standard now.

I would like to pray for Gary, may You bless him with good health to serve the nation well. May you multiply his time so he can complete his work and make time to come to church where we all miss him.

Lastly, I would like to pray for myself. May Your guidance and protection be on me while I start my first day of attachment tomorrow.

I just wanted to write to thank all of you, The Rice Family. I really cannot thank all of you enough. You helped me out when I had difficulties several weeks ago. You got me, not one but three, birthday presents after knowing me for a short 6 months. Such spirit of giving, I can never imagine. All of you are like the shining stars of God who brightens up the community out there filled with darkness.

I believe this is God's Will for me to learn something... This is also something I want to learn when I came to Christ.

I have always been a selfish person who often hesitate to give to others. I have always looked onto my own needs first before others. I often have limited resources and unlimited wants, that's perhaps why I am unable and uneasy to freely give to others. All of us have our financial constraints but you all can still give cheerfully and freely to help others. I am really overwhelmed by all your kindness... This will be one aspect that I really pray that I will learn and improve on along my journey with God.

Once again, thank all of you very very much for the shirts and pants you bought for my birthday. They really came in time and I truly appreciate them a lot! Thank you also for helping me see and also become a cheerful giver.

Do Not Worry

Let's see, where do I begin. God is Good, All the Time. Basically, He provided me with a great starting job with a great starting pay. Now the details.

I was praying for God to open doors to where He wants me to be, and close the doors to where He doesn't want me to go into. So guess what, He answers.

Surrender to the Lord, and He will bless
A few years back, I surrendered my NS to the Lord. I remember specifically that I told the Lord that I submit it to Him, and being our Almighty Lord, He sent me to Police. I have lots of free time to do what I have to, and I don't have to suffer much.

He has a plan for you
Next, I applied for SMU and NUS, I didn't get in. So I'm sure the Lord doesn't want me there now. So what's after that for me since my NS is coming to an end, was work. I applied for a few jobs, and then within a few hours, one of the company, Swee Lee Music Company, called me and asked if I wanted another position, IT Support / Marketing Executive, which they have and not listed on their website. So indeed God is showing me where He wants me to go.

God provides for us what we need
And guess what, He provides me with not just enough money to get through my days, He blessed me with a bag when I need one. (Thanks guys)

So let me close with this few verses as a reminder to us all of God's goodness and greatness.

well, guys i guess i always know how things went wrong, but i just let it. felt kinda lousy abit it. i alway spot the sin coming my way but i did nothing about it, i just let it hit mi. i need to stand up and resist it. FOCUS!!! again n again i fall due to distraction and also i did nothing about it. ya. hope i really can either flee from it or stand up and fight it!!! i wanna change i don't wanna be the same old me by the end of the year. i have faith, but i am weak in the spirit due to the continuous attack from baddie. ya
btw, was thinking if i should give my old blog it's life back??? hahahaha

100,000 Blessing Prayer

Faith Community Baptist Church, in the month of July to August, will be sending out its 5,700-odd Warriors to bless 100,000 people in our community. I am honoured to be one of these 5,700-odd warriors that will go in God’s glory.

Father God in Heaven, I like to pray that You will bless Your warriors with the courage to approach others to pray a blessing for them, the perseverance to carry on despite rejections and Your wisdom to pray with the right words. I pray that the campaign will be a roaring success with more than a 100,000 people blessed. I pray that Your touch will be with the people being blessed, may their hearts open up to Your Grace and Salvation. Amen!

I'm finally baptized. After a long wait, after lots of prayers, after lots of waiting, after lots of bouncing around, I am finally BAPTIZED!!! Haha, Joy to the Lord.

Let's see, I got Baptized on 25th May 2007, a Friday. And Pentecost Sunday was the Sunday following that, haha...

Ok, let's see. The first task i got after being baptized is that i have to clean the toilet. The lesson in this is real simple for me, Humility. I went to work after i got baptized, and to my shock and horror and disgust, i found the toilet at my workplace, Basement 5, dirty... Something which i totally cannot stand. Someone poop-ed all over the squatting WC. And so, me being me, cleaned it up without thinking. What a start of my spiritual life huh, hehe... But thanks be to God, i felt much better after cleaning it up. A service rendered to the Lord.

Then the next thing I did was something I totally enjoyed. I BBQ-ed other peoples' sins. Whaha... How? With fire, literally, and with a BBQ pit. I went to the Encounter Weekend to help out, and instead of nailing the sin list to the cross, they wanted to burn the list. So I helped to set up the fire and help usher them to burn the list. One thing I made sure, was that everyone's list was burnt to ashes. I made sure that nothing, not one sin, is left. I felt that it was spiritual warfare in a sense. Making sure that none of the sins that the people is left, less it comes back. But that's just me la. you may think it's too exaggerated.

Next was to pray for the people at EW to receive the gift of tongues. That was totally the Holy Spirit at work, not me. Who am I to be able give other's this gift. Only the Holy Spirit who is in me is able to do so. And Brothers, indeed, the Lord uses us to release this gift to others.

So thanks be to God in all things.

my encounter weekend boys!

so i was away at ps william's encounter this weekend as a guide for the very first time... i've been to encounter weekend twice... 1st as a participant (cried like a baby)... 2nd was as a logistic (cried like a baby)... and this time i had to take on the role of guide and big brother to 5 young lads... i had absolutely no idea what i was getting myself into... i didn't know them at all and i wasn't sure what was required of me for the weekend... i was quite apprehensive of what being a guide was about... and i told dennis about it... dennis just told me this was a good opportunity for me to "die to self"... less of me and more of the Lord and the Holy Spirit... so I did... I went to the weekend with the thought that I'll leave everything to the Lord and try as much as I could to move in the Spirit...

went off a little quiet because i didn't know how to talk to these guys... i mean they're 15 and i'm almost twice their age... so during one of the sharing sessions, one of them said that it was kinda too quiet around... so i took a step and starting to talk more... we just sort of shared about our lives and stuff... and i told them my ns stories and life story and we sort of started to have something to talk about... then the rest of the weekend was slightly better now that we could talk...

and the praying has really been more spirit-led than ever before... i didn't have any preconceived idea of what to pray for... but just followed whatever prompting that came to me... here's a little testimony:

months back i watched a documentary on channelnewsasia on tourette's syndrome... about this bunch of kids dealing with the medical condition and that they have to live with having twitches or muscle spasms... then the last week i was trying to remember this medical term... i couldn't remember it no matter what... the name just didn't come to me...

then during the 1st nite of encounter... i noticed one of my bois kept having involuntary twitches... but i didn't dare to ask him about it yet... and on the 2nd day... the term "tourette's syndrome" suddenly popped into my head and i suddenly remembered that its the same term i tried to remember the entire week... i didn't know why i kept trying to recall the name but at that point i understood why! i felt this prompting to pray for the boi but i wanted to make sure first...

so on the 2nd nite i spoke to him and asked him whether he had a medical condition... he replied yes, but seemed really uncomfortable talking about it so i didn't pursue further... by the 3rd day morning... the Spirit was literally shouting in my head to go pray for him! i wanted to make sure i was praying the right thing so i asked to talk to him privately after lunch and asked if he knew what his medical condition was called... i was thinking to myself if he said "tourette's" then i'd have hit the jackpot... he said he didn't know... but i just told him i was prompted to pray about it for him... so i just prayed a little prayer over him for healing to begin and for him to receive this healing...

other than that... i prayed for one of my bois and william's james (with ps william) and this other little boi (with joe) during the Holy Spirit session and they all received the gift of tongues! hallelujah!

the Lord uses all of us in greater ways than we think! now can i hear an Amen!?

under 17 encounter

well well well, its me again to post 1st. hahaha... this is the 1st time i am attending ew as a guide, it was fun at the same time i learn things differently. Plus some of u might know wat happen to me at the ew. argh... scary... but yet anyway, wat touches me the most was the session about burning the sin list thingy. just as the pastor said that we can proceed to burn the sin list, i just felt prompt to ask my guys to pause for a moment to think thru wat they have written in the sin list. asking them to be truth to God since i am not going to ask them to share or anything. After which i pray for them one by one as we continue in the jounery of burning the list. after i pray for the last member, they told me that they wanna pray for me too. at this moment i felt affirm of y am i serving. serving this ew made me engage in the holy spirit even more.

i got to thank God and all glory to Him. cuz as i was praying for dickson to receive the gift of tongue i was unsure of how to do it. so i kept asking God to let mi. may i decrease n He increase in me. prayed for the 1st time it didn't work.(i admit tt i didn't believe i could do it.) so i tried again and. YEAH!!!! he receive the gift. really thank God. then i realize that i just have to believe God tt i could do it. it will be done by God. so i tried again helping a kid to receive tongue. before i start i just tell the Lord tt i am not the one doing it but it is God who is in me. i told God to use me as an instrument to bless others. and i just pray for a while and the little boy receive it. but was scare. then i told him do not be afraid. and just trust God. END

Side issue: i think i am coping wel with the letting go. thank for praying. i BELIEVE the day will come.

erm... guys i noe everyone is busy every weekend, i noe it is hard for everyone to be able to meet and go out have fun together as a cellgrp. but i truly wanna say a big thank you to all of u guys. i myself has been trying veri hard to try to maintain a outing every month for the cell. For the past two month the number of ppl tt came was like 3. I dun noe if i haf done something gd for the cell anot. althought it as been onli two months i can feel the challenge in organising these event for the cell. Cuz alway at the start everyone would be able to make it. but along the way something will pop up. maybe this is one thing i should learn to grow in this yr. but i dearly urge everyone tt will be able to gather someday as a whole cell to go out have fun. If u guys have any ideas on where to go to suit everyone pls let mi noe. thank you bros.

Thoughts from G12 Conference and other stuff

Ok, my turn le, haha...

Let's see, i guess what many of us caught is like what William has shared. I must admit, i don't have much points left to share le, haha... One day I would also like to see my children (Both physical and spiritual) to be serving the Lord and preaching to others.

What I hear the Lord speaking to me was my family's salvation. I guess I have forgotten to keep praying for them, and the Lord convicted me in this area on the first night of the G12 conference.

Let's see, after the first night after supper, I reached home at about 1am, then I was playing with my PSP until 3am (haha, confession), then went to bed. I was then awaken by this dream, sort of a nightmare. In the dream, I was at my father's funeral. Very sad and all, then my mum was there, etc etc. I have no idea how a Jewish funeral is like, but I seem to have this impression that it's a Jewish funeral. Weird though. Anyway, I woke up at 5.30am, and I mean wide awake. So what's the textbook answer to what to do in this situation? Pray la. So I start praying for my family's salvation. Praying by name, praying and at the same time declaring the Lord's glory and victory in my life and my family.

So after that, at 5.30am being wide awake and having awaken by this dream, I start preparing myself to go for breakfast with Dennis and the rest at Simei at 8am. Just before I left my house, my dad came home though the front door from his morning jog. There is this relief in my heart, this comfort just by seeing him, knowing that all is well (even though i know it is, need visual confirmation, haha... The standard, "You think, I thought, who confirm"). So after sharing this with Dennis, 3 points came out la.
1. Reminder to continue to pray for my family
2. Jesus died for us, haha... How I got this is kinda corny. The Fatherly figure dies, and He's a Jew, so Jesus loh. Who knows if I continue to dream, then can see the resurrection, haha...
3. Always share with your leader. More of a coverage and accountability thing, to know that you are being protected.

Basically that's it. The rest of the G12 conference is like what William and Zhi Xiong shared, so no point repeating, haha...

Thoughts for G12 conference

Hi PPL,

I would like to share with you what i have learnt from this G12 conference. Personally, I learnt that it is time for the sons and daughters to rise up. This point struck me the most for the whole G12 conference, especially so after Ps Khong spoke about the rising up of Pastors' children. He demostrated this by allowing Daniel Khong and Priscilla Khong to preach to us. Indeed, it is really no coincidence, Ps Caesar's daughter spoke to the people too ( if i am not wrong, she is just merely 16 yrs old. Can u imagine yourself doing it?)

I believe this message is not just for pastors' children, rather it is for everyone. We have spiritual parents too, and we need to take the initiative to rise up. Of course not everyone can stand on the pulpit to preach. However, we can start to take ownership of our cell group; be more pro-active and even be more involved in the cell. For instance, u might want to call your cell leader to ask him what time to meet. Rather than waiting for him to do so. This can be called rising up too.

I can sense the change in the dynamics of my current G12 group. I can feel the burning desires and the rising spirits of my fellow brothers. I would like encourage my fellow brothers to continue to keep this fire burning. In the midst of all these hyped emotions, it is important for us to continue to love people- just like what my fellow brother, zhi xiong, wrote in the preceding post .

G12 conference

hi guys and girls(i noe u r reading this too), anyway back to wat i going to blog about. it is about the G12 '07, was it impactful for u? did the word sink deep into ur hearts? well, for mi indeed it did impact mi. it gave a whole new understanding about wat is happening ard mi and y is it happening.

I would like to share wit all my brothers and sisters the 3 points tt i caught during the whole G12 conference.

1st point
it is forgiveness. we need to forgive the ppl tt have hurt us and also ask for forgiveness from the ppl tt we have hurt in our lives.
we can't do anything for God if we can't forgive others, cuz it was God tt 1st forgiven us and tell us tt we need to forgive others as how God forgive us. Asking for forgiveness is sometime hard for ppl to do due to our pride. Before we can ask forgiveness from others we need to humble ourselve 1st. so guys please ask ourselve have we not forgive anyone yet? or do we still need to ask forgiveness from some ppl?

2nd point
it is love. i remember i once hear someone say without love we can't do anything great. it is due love tt we can do small things to ppl which can mean a great things to others. as wat daniel khong preach. in order to enter the kingdom of God we need to learn to love our neighbour, he also share with us tt love is action, motion develop emotion. to love does not mean a.t.n.a(all talk no action) we need to show the person we love them by spending time with them. talking to them. like wat jesus did to his disciple. he love them. but among them he love judas the most. if i rememer clearly i think it was ps cesar tt told us jesus broke bread and dip it in wine for judas. ps cesar explain to us tt this action in jewish culture is a act of love.
as u can see jesus also show us tt to love is also to do it by action. For it is written in the commendment as the greatest one is to love God wit all our heart all our mind all our strength and to love our neighbour as we love God.So ppl today please examine our hearts today. have we obey this commandment?

Dont give up, your G12 brothers will always be by your side. We believe u will be able to get by this difficult period of your life, and become a stronger person. wat i am about to type now i have been thinking for a long time if i wanna let everyone noe. well guys by now i guess u all noe tt candice broke up wit mi. it was on friday tt i knew. my life now is like job. being put thru many test and trial. for the past few week the lord have been telling alot of things showing me things tt i never knew about. He has let me relive my darkest moment of my life. God bought mi back to the 1st time i ever have a gf and how she broke up wit mi. it was exactly the same. i was really hurt and i tried to numb myself thru many diff ways, like finding another girl to replace her in my life. but i never really fell back in love ever after her. after all this years i didn't really noe how to love anymore after my 1st gf. but i dun noe why after i meet candice it was a diff feeling, i began to feel the warm in my heart. i didn't noe wat was tt feeling. but not long after i was attach to candice. but one thing for sure is i start to love again thru candice. i started learn how to really love someone properly. and i truely thank god for tt. due to the recent break up the things i tot i had forgotten all about came back to haunt me. guys this might be one of the reason i might be diff lately. i am struggling from within.cuz i never realize it will make me fall and break me into pieces. i can't help to but to keep asking God wat plan does he have for me. why have He taken her away from me. i am really lost now. she did tell me tt it is onli a break from our 1st part of the jounery. she still say tt she still love mi, and i noe tt i still love her. dear brothers i just hope u guys keep us in prayer. my life now is really like job. wat God did to job in the 1st few chapter, i am learning how to be like job to praise him in all things. i am really lost. thank brother.

Dear Brothers and Sisters (I know you all read our blog too) in Christ, greetings...

I suppose this is my first blog entry, haha...

Anyway, let's see... What i wanna share is about prayer. As we all know, Jesus told us to pray, Pastor encourages us to pray, and we know we should pray. But are we doing it? I know i am, so why not you. I wanna share some things that happened recently and not so recently regarding my prayer life.

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." - James 5:16

Well, i cannot say that I am truly righteous, but whenever I pray for someone else, and I know that I pray with the heartbeat of our Lord Jesus, He answers my prayers.

So what is the heartbeat of Jesus? I'm sure most of us know a little about it. He wants to Heal us, Deliver us, Bless us, He loves the weak, the poor and the humble.

Let's see, when i was still a young Christian, during my Poly school days, which is 2 or 3 years back, I remember specifically praying for my classmate Bryan for his driving test. He is a backsliden brother, and I told him that I will be praying for his driving test and not to worry so much. Guess what, he passed his driving test. (Of course right, if not share for what)

Anyway, recently, or should I say last night at the MHA(Ministry of Home Affairs) Annual Dinner, something happened also. Not a big thing, but big enough to let me know that God is working His miracles in my life and others. As any other Dinner and Dance events, there is a lucky draw for anyone who attends. So what happened was my Team Leader(we work in teams) couldn't make it for the dinner, but we registered him for the lucky draw anyway (Typical Singaporean mah). And I dunno why, I prayed this simple prayer, "God, bless my friends, let them win something." Lo and Behold, the Lord used me to bless my Team Leader. His ticket was with me, by God's will, and he got the 10th prize of a Phillips DVD recorder, not bad huh...

Some of us may say coincidence la, but guess what, you're right. Because coincidence is God's way of working in our lives. What else you want God to do? Make the earth shake and walls crumble everytime He works in our lives? Then we would be living in ruins already, cos so many times God has worked in our lives.

Hi Brothers,

I wonder if you all could still remember the testimony that the lady gave after the healing service. She came forward to thank God for removing her congenital heart condition, which is also known as MVP. This condition will affect the normality of the valve. Though it is not a serious problem, it will still pose a threat in the long run. Similarly, I too step forward to be prayed for on that particular sunday. However, I din go for a checkup yet so i dont know if i am fully healed.
I just went for my scan today, and the nurse took super long to finish the scan which is a good sign cause i believe she was not able to find the faulty valve.. Praise the Lord.. I will know my result on 27 Dec, so I would like to ask for your prayers during this period of time. Please pray for me that God will heal me completely, and i too can be a living testimony for Christ.

THE CHERNOBYL LEGACY: Their lives were over before it had even begun

Lennel shared this with me today, thought I'd share it with you guys. It's a photoessay that's beautifully done by a professional depicting the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, focusing on the children that were affected. (WARNING: Pictures depicted may be deemed disturbing to some. But in my opinion, it's fine. It's more saddening than anything) It would be a good, timely reminder of how we are often so engrossed with the seemingly important issues with life like education, material wealth and the pursuit of various ideals that we often become so disillusioned and upset when small, little things do not go our way.

Mandai - Intrepid zoo lover Joe Choo has revealed breaking news just days following his exciting adventure to the Singapore Zoological Gardens with his cell kids. On his hands were precious footage of the exciting moments leading up to the flying peacock landing in the wolves' den. Unfortunately, the footage of the actual entering and escape act of the peacock was not captured on film. Still, the thrilling moments leading up to it has provided us with entertaining and hilarious footage, safe in the knowledge that the peacock was ultimately unharmed. Zoo on 22nd April 2006

Let's see, the zoo outing with my guys was fun. Justin, Kai Bin, Gabriel, Calvin and Joel went. We were touring around until Joel and Calvin decided to chase the peacock around, so there they went, and guess what. The peacock flew into the WOLF'S DEN!!! That poor bird, almost got ripped into bits and pieces by those rampaging wolves. Luckily it flew out before being mauled by any of them. Well, other than that, everything else is fine. But some exhibits were closed for renovation, so no choice. Anyway, we had quite a fun time together, haha... It ain't easy bringing 5 kids to the zoo, was nagging them all the time, haha.. Anyway, thanks to Jacqueline and Calvin's parents, we all had a free trip, haha... Zoo card!!!

Hi guys..

got a little testimony to share. shared it with william the other day over dinner.. thought that it will be a good idea to share with the rest.

Last tuesday, one of my assignments was to cover a story on a man who overcame diabetes and became a triathlete. He is from Touch Diabetes Support (TDS)Group. I was pleasantly surprised to be chosen to cover the story, yet the real excitment only sunk in much later, when i realised how it was

In the last tablenacle held at TC chapel a couple of months back, i asked God if the photojournalist job was for me. The answer didn't exactly come in the form of a burning bush nor was there a pillar of fire in the sky. Haha.. though i did feel that God prompted me to have faith and that He wants me to make the name of FCBC great through the mass media. I just took it quietly and didn't really dare to share with many people for the fear of disappointment, and also sia xuay mah. in case i didnt get the job. I did get the job, albeit on a free lance basis and it was not until this day that God reminded me of the day at the tablenacle.

The reporter who went with me initially only wanted to focus her story on the triathlete and not Touch, however, i slowly managed to persuade her to mention Touch. And the great thing was that i was able to push for a pic of Ps Julie and the triathlete together with the Touch logo in one of the pictures. (hopefully they will use that pic)

Felt happy that i was able to use my job to spread God's glory. And this affirmation could not be more timely as there are more new guys coming in and the competition for permanent staus is getting stiffer. Still i was not able to see this little miracle till 2 days later.

My boss decided to cut our days as he is getting more and more freelances( i suspect this arrangement is to gear up for the elections.. hope the new freelances will go after the GE). I was on my way to cover an assignment, feeling rather despondent as i only have 2 working days this week.

i was complaining to God... not even praying.. but just kinda whining to Him.. if this is the job for me.. why is it getting so tough and that i can't really see the light at the end of the tunnel. Then suddenly i just turned my head and saw that a stranger next to me was reading a computer print out of some bible notes. The note was not addressed to anyone. It didn't start with ''dear so and so..''

It just started off with ...

'' Jer 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I was intrigued! it was like wow.. so i read on.. and then it goes on to talk about Joseph's life. And that when Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers. He surely couldn't have thought that God had a good plan for his life. However, he later became the prime minister of egypt and was able to save his own family because of his position.

Thus God does have a good plan for us.. just that sometimes it's abit hard to see.

The note ended off with asking the reader( the stranger and .. me aka nosey peeping tom) to repeat to ourselves .. God has a good plan for me. God has a good plan for me.

The magnitude of these 2 events didn't strike me till i had time to think about it over the weekend. I even tried to brush it off as a mere conincidence! BUT The more i think about it, the more convinced i am that God has a good plan for me.

Of coz, sometimes i also feel like the isrealites. God did so many miracles for them and yet they cannot see them and keep complaining. So i am also praying for a grateful heart and more faithful heart.

here's a little story for everyone...

last nite i went to buy the chocolate eggs that i gave out today, a special little treat for my family + spiritual family... after that i went to meet this guy whom i've identified as a potential "son" of mine... we had a good chat and all and i'm quite set on bringing him to church one day...

well anyway... when i bought the eggs, i just grabbed a bunch and guessed how many people might be coming to service today... but in the end i juz took a bunch coz i din noe how many to buy... so the whole day i was worrying about not having enough to go round... but i told myself to believe that there'll be enough...

so i started to give out the eggs:
1. my sister and her bf
2. my gf + 6 of her girls
3. all of us
4. myself

the thing is during worship suddenly i remembered that i should have given one to that guy last nite...

and i had EXACTLY 1 egg left.

It's a bit bare bones at the moment, our profiles on the right are not up yet too but mean while it's serviceable so bear with it! Glad that we now have our own patch of land in cyberspace! My wish is that we would not only keep track of events and with each other but also to post comments, stories, devotions, interesting features and just about anything we would like to share!
